Foundation What We Do

SACA TrackThe Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy (SACA) Track Team was founded in 1987 in Atlanta, Georgia. This track program is an outreach ministry of the Fellowship of Faith Church International which is located at 2553 Connally Drive in East Point, Georgia. The Senior Pastor is Wayne C. Thompson. The Head Coach is Dwight Howard. The purpose of the SACA Track Team is to provide an environment for the children to reach their potential in athletics while helping to build character and confidence. The summer session started in 1991 with our group participating in the AAU Circuit. The coaches will work to match each child with his of her ability in track and/or field, no matter how fast or slow. Our training program is designed to promote physical fitness, discipline, competitiveness, and sportsmanship under Christian leadership. Our Team Motto comes from Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me”. SACA Track is a non-profit organization. The coaching staff volunteer their time from February through August to help make the SACA Track Team one of the finest in the country. The team upholds the standards of the Word of God, Fellowship of Faith Church International and Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy.
